NEPHRO-K
For preventing renal dysfunction and gout
In poultry, approximately 30% of all health issues are either directly or indirectly linked to kidney-related problems. Uric acid, the final product of protein and purine metabolism in birds, is excreted through the kidneys. Unlike mammals, birds do not possess the enzyme uricase, which means uric acid is not further broken down into the more water-soluble compound allantoin. As a result, uric acid remains insoluble in water. Gout is a metabolic condition characterized by elevated levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia), leading to the accumulation of uric acid crystals or urates in tissues. This condition negatively impacts poultry performance by reducing weight gain, increasing the feed conversion ratio (FCR), and raising mortality rates, which can range from 11% to 30%. Dietary and metabolic contributors to gout include excessive calcium intake, high protein levels, too much salt, phosphorus deficiency, an imbalanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, and feed adulterated with urea. NEPHRO-K helps manage this condition by effectively lowering uric acid levels and alleviating associated symptoms.
Benefits:
- To improve renal system functioning
- In management of gout and ascites
- Ensure improvement of renal system functioning
- Improve bird’s health and performance greatly by detoxification mechanism, endogenous generation, reabsorption of vital nutrients/ electrolytes, haemopoiesis, etc
- Reduce mortality due to gout/ ascites
- Assists faster rejuvenation of renal tissue
- Improve profitability in poultry farming
